About

What is Snaptuary?

Snaptuary has evolved into an all-encompassing brand, covering multimedia, film, and photography (digital and analog). It started exclusively as a digital collection of media that showcased various people, places and things as they were discovered in organic- everyday occurrences, featuring content that had been captured throughout North America over a number of years. Each artifact captured was carefully crafted to ensure the individuality and uniqueness of the reflected moment had not only been expressed in a special way, but also preserved.

From flooding to friendship, natural disasters to natural lighting, Snaptuary has been a vector of storytelling and engagement. Now, that meticulous attention to the raw details, combined with a zeal to convey many of these untapped stories to a larger audience has established the foundation for venturing into new frontiers that will collectively reinforce what Snaptuary is all about.

About the Creator

Now based in his hometown of New York City, Rob Chenphang, Jr. is an independent, freelance photographer and videographer formerly operating out of Los Angeles, CA. Having spent numerous years practicing film and photography as a hobby, his journey to the creation of what is now Snaptuary started more than a decade ago in Seattle. It has subsequently lead him across the U.S., as well as further abroad, in search of discovering and documenting one-of-a-kind aspects of our environment, society, culture and geography from a perspective that the average person has not previously seen. Rob has a sincere passion for documenting life, and his unique vision through the use of media. He hopes that his work and pursuit of that passion will continue to lead him to new experiences around the globe.
